Tuning
We work alongside leaders and inside their teams. We listen first, earn trust through small, practical wins, and widen the circle from there.
Three dials. None of them goes to ten.
We set these three with every client, together.
A guitarist never turns every knob to maximum. They listen to the room and to the rest of the band, then make small adjustments until the whole sound comes together. We bring that same ear to organisations, and to the way people work and live.

Clothing and small objects that carry the idea with them. A quiet knob motif, recognised by those who know.
Of all the knobs, the one most often ignored is how people feel.
Strategy and technology only work when the people involved understand them and want them to work. That is where we start.

good-tone started with something every guitarist knows: the search for the right sound.
In a rehearsal room, no one plays alone. The amp, the pedals, the drums, the voice and the room itself all shape what you hear. Turn one knob and everything else sounds different.
The best tone is rarely the loudest. It comes from many small adjustments, each made while listening to the whole. When it is right, everyone in the room can feel it. We call that いいかんじ.
Many organisations today have drifted out of tune. Technology, efficiency and numbers have each been turned up on their own, and the whole no longer sounds like one band.
The knob we pay most attention to is the one most often ignored: how the people involved feel. Their positions, motives and emotions decide whether a good plan is carried out. Lasting change needs emotional harmony first.
With clients, we set these together. These are the ones we set for ourselves.
A world where organisations sound like one band.
To tune organisations from the inside, starting with the people in them.
Listen before turning. Small turns, often. The whole over any single part.
We are not a typical consulting firm. We use digital tools and new technology when they help, but our approach always starts with people. We don't promise to fix everything. We focus on making an organisation feel right.
We begin with long, honest conversations with your key counterparts, and set the vision together.
We work inside the organisation, close to the people and the real work. We build trust and create small wins, often through practical digital changes.
With that trust and those results, more people choose to take part. The change spreads from within.
Our clothing and accessories are not merchandise. Each one is a reminder of the way of thinking behind good-tone.
In the middle of a busy week it is easy to lose sight of what matters. We make these to keep the idea close, every day.
For people who care about the same things, they can be a quiet guide, chosen and worn on their own terms.
Heavyweight cotton, three-quarter sleeves. A small orange dial sits above the left cuff, where you see it when you check the time.

The same shirt in soft garment-dyed black. A fader runs along the side seam, its purple cap visible only up close.

A 14mm sterling silver knob with a knurled edge. The indicator is set to about seven, and stays there.

Simple forms that fit into the wardrobe you already have.
Good materials, made to last and to be used often.
A small knob motif, placed where only those who know will notice.
